Between the material world and the world of dreams there are many layers of our personal perception. These layers create our own reality. It is an individual experience of the world, determined not only by our background, memories, experiences…but also by our wishes, dreams and fantasies. Colour and flavour of our daily lives depend on how we float through these layers.
The boundaries between “real” and fantasy worlds are subtle. In order to understand ourselves, we should get closer, unveil the layers of our reality, and step into their dream world. The closer we get to reality, the more vulnerable it becomes. At the same time, it is fascinating to reveal a dreamer in each of us.
With my latest project, Veiled Reality, I’ve tried to catch these magical moments of self-reflection. Travelling along that road we gain new insights of the world and ourselves. In unveiling hidden layers of our inner world we grow, finding strength and peace, reaching the confidence of maturity.

Since moving to The Netherlands, Bojana started experimenting with street and documentary photography. In time, her fascination with art and conceptual photography has grown, revealing unlimited space for fantasy and creativity. People, their lives and dreams are an inexhaustible source of inspiration. By observing the surrounding world in all its facets, we face intriguing moments. For Bojana, photography is an exploration, a way to find and tell a story. In creating an image, she tries to express her thoughts and emotions, experimenting with colour palette, shades and shadows to convey atmosphere and provoke emotions in her audience. Since 1994, Bojana has lived and worked in The Netherlands.
