Wailing Wall no.1

I took this photo through a fence separating tourists from those praying at The Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. The way the patterns in the fence distort the subjects and the landscape captured my attention. I experimented with multiple combinations of focal distance, aperture, focus and proximity, yielding many fascinating results. After much deliberation, this was the image that resonated with me most.
