Shania, from the series Traveling Show Families

From carnivals through to sideshows, boxing tents and circuses, Australians have been entertained by a variety of traveling showmen for well over a hundred years.  Many of these travelling troupes are still operated by the same families that set them up all those years ago. Eleven-year-old Shania is a performer in the family run Stardust Circus.  Along with her siblings and cousins she is home schooled as the Circus moves constantly from town to town.
