Desert Light

Shantelle Parker Burton aged 11, poses with a light in the Central Desert of Australia. I first met Shantelle when she was only a couple of weeks old. I became close friends with her mother Katherine and looked after Shantelle and her brother Sebastian when Katherine became ill. Sadly I lost touch with them for several years after they returned to their mother they moved to the Central Desert. This picture was taken on a trip to reunite with the children.
