Abandoned sunset

The unusual landscape of the vegetation down below at Bombo Quarry, near Kiama, NSW, attracted me, as did the sheer size of the cliff looming in the distance under the striking sky. I was drawn to the tones and textures in the column-like rock formations on the cliff, created by many years of basalt mining. The area is now heritage listed due to these unusual formations.
