Barbara is a Gamilario/Murri woman has been photographing the social history of contemporary Aboriginal life for over 30 years. From Sports to politics, her vision is a unique perspective from within a community empowering her subjects by this virtue alone.

Barbara’s exhibition of 40 works, is a retrospective of the past three years, covering recent events such as Occupy Sydney, Koori Knockout, Yarbun Music Festival, Black Diggers March, plus her images from the National Indigenous Times.

The images are curated by photographer Belinda Mason.
