A series of images exploring ‘forces unseen’. I have always been fascinated by the idea that visible light represents only a fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum with which we are bombarded on a daily basis.
I set about to capture these ethereal wavelengths in a series of images that allow these unseen forces to become visible and impinge onto film and digital chip.
My explorations have led me from old school science experiments all the way to 10,000 volt discharges. The results are abstract, surprising and often strangely beautiful.
