Cars parked in the streets are a common feature in Bangalore, India. Of the innumerable cars I came across, I was drawn to those that were covered while parked. Over a period of time, I realized that the covered cars are rarely used and mostly lie sleeping in the streets. As I made images of the covered forms in the everyday landscape, I began to see them as symbols of wasted abilities. This series of photographs is my reflection on human potential and possibilities.
This project has in the past been exhibited in Bangalore, Chennai, London, New Delhi and Valencia. It has been featured online as well as in print.
