“Salt and Sand” is a collection of abstract aerial photographs taken across New Zealand & Australia.
This collection of images crosses the line between art and landscape photography, asking the viewer to examine and rethink each image whilst showcasing both the dichotomy and harmony between the natural world and the man-made that exists in juxtaposition beside it.
The images were taken over the space of 18 months while travelling in private chartered aircraft. All images were shot using DSLR cameras.
