“Salt and Sand” is a collection of abstract aerial photographs taken across New Zealand & Australia.

This collection of images crosses the line between art and landscape photography, asking the viewer to examine and rethink each image whilst showcasing both the dichotomy and harmony between the natural world and the man-made that exists in juxtaposition beside it.

The images were taken over the space of 18 months while travelling in private chartered aircraft. All images were shot using DSLR cameras.

Anthony Ponzo is a professional photographer from Sydney, Australia with over 12 years’ experience working in landscape & travel photography.

Anthony has spent a lot of time traveling the world and spent part of 2014 in Antarctica on a photographic voyage, after which he held his first solo photography exhibition in Sydney.

With a fantastic opening night and steady interest generated from the showing, over half his prints were sold in the following week alone.

Most recently he has travelled to some of the most remote parts of New Zealand and Australia photographing abstract aerial landscapes and images.
