In a world that now seeks the endless production of content, this body of work explores the concept of landscape within the confines of the physicality of photography. How does one portray ‘landscape’ within this medium when all has seemingly been photographed and seen?
I have spent decades following my dreams and travelling the world, documenting its realities, only to be surpassed by technology. These new programs now create such landscapes, saturating our world with a picture-perfect version of existence.
To face these challenges, my work has started to create new landscapes from existing photographs from across countries, regions or continents. Technology has enabled my exploration to create, with each piece made of 17 individual pictures from the chosen area, country or continent.
