I photograph everyday landscapes – driveways, fences, car parks, gardens and buildings. These are scenes where people spend their lives – in their homes, their workplaces, and the trails commuted each and every day. In photographing the familiar I intend to explore the built society. I scrutinise the way individuals exist and personalise their own space, and observe how the environment reflects contemporary circumstances, attitudes and aspirations.
