Torsten Schumann (* 1975 in East Germany) is a Berlin based photographer (Arte Laguna Prize 2012, Berliner Liste Award 2014, OPUS Kulturmagazin Prize 2015). He takes photographs of situations and objects in urban spaces as found. He has exhibited in Germany, across international festivals and in group shows. In 2016 his first book “More Cars, Clothes and Cabbages” was published by Peperoni Books and his book dummy “inclined/ Off Keel” was shortlisted at the Unseen dummy award.
