The Figure and The Object in The landscape have been a consistent source of material for our species since we were drawing in the dirt and placing blackened charcoaled hands against cave walls several millennia ago. We look to re-evaluate these terms of reference and there approximate location by using the seminal work “Ping” by Mr Samuel Beckett.
More process driven than final work and bound by a specific starting point, we hope to provide a rebuttal of sorts and blurring of the lines of what The Figure and The Object in The Landscape mean in 2016 and photography’s roll in this ever changing conversation.
