The essence of light is the ethereal element that can transpose the ordinary into the extraordinary. It is also the process of imagery, the art of production that transposes the artist’s idea to the audience. This exhibition presents the contemporary journey of 11 artists as they work to unlock, define and explore their meaning of the essence of light.
Featured Artists: Aldo Pena, Clair Reynolds, Deb Mooney, Ron Bullions, Yvonne Lemming, Kevin O’Sheehan, Stacey Skalkos, Robert Goodall, Brian Merrill, Amanda Hitchens and Benjamin Knight.

The Inner West Photographic Society is comprised of a small but passionate group of photographers. The club’s aim is to continually develop our members’ photographic skills in a supporting environment of fun and mutual respect. The club caters for photographers at all skill levels and our activities are intended to be the vehicle to challenge and extend our members.
