Dark Night is a project carried out in recent months of 2015, borne from the desire to photograph those mysterious places which come alive when the night takes over.
Pools “in the sea” of the Northern Beaches of Sydney are popular places from the first light to the sunset. Womens, mens, child, elderly, they go everyday to enrich themselves of positive energy, so characteristic that the ocean can offer us.
Dark Night is a sequence of photographs taken in black and white using long exposure, with aims to transmit, over a poetic vision, those places which may seem mysterious and fascinating in the darkness of the night.
Constant changes of appearance influenced by the force of the sea and of the movements of the water lead me day after day to admire and photograph with an eye always amazed, places so fascinating and somewhat mystical.
