Andrew’s series of fine art prints, titled Custodian, distils over a decade of photographic documentation across Tasmania, particularly the coastlines and coast-dwelling residents of his island home.
Like a painter, Andrew’s images are digitally brushed together in multiple layers to create dynamic, hyper-real compositions. This process, known as digital compositing, allows a compilation of elements from various images to emphasise the drama of the Tasmanian coast, creating a compelling narrative in the work.
