“In March 1991 I made my first trip to Seattle, WA to shoot the band Queensryche for EMI Records. I fell in love with everything Seattle on that trip. I was already a BIG fan of Sub Pop Records, but being in the city where it all began was huge for me. The next day I got to shoot the band Nirvana for fun. Their manager John Silva was nice enough to set up the shoot for me cuz they had a new drummer named Dave and needed new photos. The rest is history!”
