One Less God is a new Australian Independent film inspired by the Mumbai terrorist attacks of 2008. The film centres upon a group of international tourists besieged in their hotel by members of the Islamic Fundamentalist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, the ‘Army of the Righteous’. For 72 hours, the terrorists methodically stalk the hotel driving the survivors out of hiding. As the days pass with still no intervention, the guests must battle to survive both the terrorists, and their own conflicting beliefs.
The concept of the story of One Less God was originated by myself and Writer/Director Lliam Worthington, my close friend and collaborator for many years, after we were both deeply moved and affected by the tragic events of the Mumbai terrorist attacks.
The film was shot on multiple locations from Kathmandu in Nepal, to the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, and Sydney over an 8 month period and is currently in post production.
This exhibition features the behind-the-scenes photography in the filming of One Less God.
