Wanderland
Wandering Sydney’s streets and beaches, I’m drawn to worlds beyond the usual linear perspective. As a child, books and TV transported me to magical realms through portals to heightened realities. I felt compelled to use my camera to find my own gateways to invisible worlds.
Noticing few street photographers shot from street level, I began doing so with flash, revealing astonishing new perspectives. Camera placement profoundly shapes the final image, exposing scenes of pure imagination often missed by passersby.
This approach applies beyond photography—viewing life’s challenges from fresh angles uncovers hidden insights and possibilities.
