Call for Venue Submissions

– applications open until 31 December 2012

Head On Photo Festival ask all interested exhibition venues to express your interest for inclusion in the festival by emailing [email protected]. You will be asked to complete a form supplied to you via email by the 31st December 2012.

Regardless of whether you already have an artist lined up, or are looking for one, Head On needs to better understand as many details about your organisation and its plans, as possible.

Once the form is complete, please email it directly to [email protected]

A Head On representative will be in touch shortly to discuss your requirements for the 2013 festival.

No payment is required at this stage. In 2013, there will be three levels of exhibitions – Primary (which are a number of artists selected by Head On for a partially subsidised exhibition), Featured and Associated. Head On will determine whether your exhibition will be promoted as a Featured or Associated event. The costs of a Featured or Associated event are the responsibility of the venue or the artist.

This decision will be based on the type of venue you are providing (museum/cafe) and the level (international/local/acclaimed/emerging) of artist exhibiting within it. Featured and Associated exhibitions receive a different level of benefits and promotion during the festival.

Associated exhibitions: $150.00 (Head On Members: $140.00)

– Exhibition webpage and link on the Head On Photo Festival site. You will have access to update this yourself.
