Celebrate Australian photography with us. Join our special two-day photo meet in stunning Kandos to connect regional and city-based NSW photographers and share the delights of being an Australian photographer!

Esteemed Australian landscape photographers Judith Crispin, Murray Fredericks, and Head On Creative Director Moshe Rosenzveig OAM will facilitate a photo walk and conversations around techniques, ideas and experiences, sharing work, and creating valuable social engagement while enjoying Australia’s natural beauty.

Head On has organised and subsidised this event in collaboration with Cementa.

Dates: 19-20 August 2023

Location: Kandos, NSW (3 hour drive from Sydney)

Packages:

1. Photo meet only: $295
   • Includes photo meet activities and Saturday night dinner
2. Photo meet plus 1-night accommodation $375
   • Includes photo meet activities, breakfast, and Saturday night dinner
3. Photo meet plus 2 nights accommodation: $450
   • Includes photo meet activities, breakfasts, and Saturday night dinner

Photo meet format

• Sunrise photo walk (optional self-guided/small groups)
• Open reviews; group feedback on photographs from Saturday’s travel shoot or personal portfolios

What you need to do

• Book your place on Head On’s website
• Send a portfolio of work to discuss with the group to [email protected] via WeTransfer by Friday, 11 August (Head On will provide specifications once the booking is confirmed)
• Bring a camera and equipment suitable for landscape photography

Head On heads out terms and conditions

1. Booking

• Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
• Bookings close when the maximum number of participants is reached or Friday 11, August 2023

2. Cancellations

• Email [email protected] if a participant needs to cancel their booking
• Head On will refund cancellations confirmed in writing made before Friday, 11 August 2023
• Head On will not accept cancellations over the phone or in person
• If you cannot attend the workshop due to illness or other extenuating circumstances, Head On may be able to offer you a credit towards a future event

3. Refunds

• Head On will only refund bookings if:
  • The participant notifies Head On in writing by Friday, 11^th August 2023, that the participant is cancelling their booking OR
    Head On cancels the event

4. Liability

• The organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to participants or their property.
• Participants assume all risks associated with participating in the event.

5. Modifications

• Head On reserves the right to modify the program or schedule, or to cancel the workshop at any time

6. Bad Weather

• In bad weather, Head On will endeavour to continue the event as planned or modify the program in consideration of the weather
• If the weather conditions are deemed to be unsafe, the organiser, at their discretion, will cancel or reschedule the workshop
• In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling before Friday, 19 August 2023, Head On will offer participants a refund or the opportunity to transfer the booking to a future event
• In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, once the event commences, Head On will offer participants a partial refund or the opportunity to transfer the booking to a future event

• By booking a place in the event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions
