War paint
Jasmine Olivia Duncan

student
The portrait ‘War Paint’ is a metaphor for the mask and armour that we build for our external persona, social anxiety and insecurity, often making the concept of exposing ourselves to the world a very daunting experience. I composed this portrait to express the courage it can take to be uniquely yourself and the beauty in self-empowerment.
