Tree of Life
David Flanagan

landscape
“This image is one of a series of aerial abstract photographs taken in the Cambridge Gulf on the North Coast of Western Australia where five big tidal rivers enter the sea.
This captivating aerial view formed by the tidal mudflats, mangrove swamps, hidden creeks and rivers, exposes the heart of the Gulf which results in the entire vista appearing more like an artist’s abstract painting rather than a landscape.
The inexpressible combination of colours , lines, patterns and textures gives the perspective of a tree coming to life.”
