On the Threshold

The spectre of adolescence looms large. Your limbs are growing faster than you can handle, your head is filled with all sorts of conflicting emotions, the world around you seems exciting, scary and crazy all at once. 

You are the first born of your family, your parents are as new to this as you are. You are the one paving the way for all the others.
