Things of Fire and Ash #2

Oscar is a resident of Kinglake in Victoria and is one of many youths affected by the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. His skateboard and this skate park represents the way he coped with the aftermath. This image is part of a series of eleven youths that were photographed for the Things of Fire and Ash exhibition, images and stories courtesy of the Victorian Police Museum.
