Sunday morning with Amélie

In my series ‘Even as you watch I am fleeting’ I explore the human experience. Raising my daughters has been a culmination of moments of beauty, doubt, awe, fear, discovery, confusion, wonder, inspiration and ultimately the passage of time to the present day where my daughters have one foot left in childhood as they transition to young women. Amélie and I have a very open dialogue as mother and daughter, she shares her loves and concerns with an openness that astounds  inspires and challenges me.
