Marion and the doctor Peyo

At the palliative care centre at Calais hospital, France, Marion, 24, a metastatic cancer sufferer, embraces her 7-year-old son Ethan in the presence of Peyo. Although Peyo doesn’t like being stroked – his behaviour is similar to autism – he comes to comfort people at the end of their lives. Peyo and his owner and best friend Hassen Bouchakour left the world of competitions and equestrian shows to join a radically different one: that of medicine, solidarity and human dignity.
