Hendricks bag

My photograph is an appropriation of photographer Hendrick Kersten’s ‘Bag’ made in 2007. His original inspiration came from Dutch paintings from 17thC Masters. So in a sense I have ‘borrowed’ from Kerstens who ‘borrowed’ from art history like a double appropriation. This is the post-modern frame in contemporary art.
