Samantha and Hayden were evicted from their Adelaide home and moved to Broken Hill where they are struggling to make ends meet. This photo captures an array of emotions of a family beset with bad luck, unemployment and mental illness. It also depicts a unique Australian stoicism, the kind that I see a lot in my travels through rural communities.
