Master Akbar Yazdani of Azerbayjan Province, Iran. A sorna, dozaleh and balaban player, he is of one of the last of the generations of musicians that play this kind of Persian music. I took this portrait in Tehran amid pollution, when he came to Tehran to participate in the 4th Aynedar regional and ritual music festival in 2017.
