6 PM – 8 PM (Sydney AEDT) Curator’s walkthrough at Bondi Pavilion in the Yalagang room. 

Head On Photo Festival’s Creative Director Moshe Rosenzveig OAM will personally walk you through the photography exhibitions of Head On Photo Festival 2022. Along the stunning shore of Bondi Beach, Moshe will speak about the artists intent, curatorial decisions, our unique style of installation and the meaning behind the photographic stories. 

6 PM – 8 PM (Sydney AEDT) opening – Light as a Feather exhibition opening at Bendigo Bank, Haymarket 

Join Angela Robertson-Buchanan for the opening of her exhibition centred around micro photography of feathers.

Saturday 19 November  

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Sydney AEDT) artist talk – Behind the exhibition part 4 at Bondi Pavilion in the Yalagang room and online. 

Don’t miss our fourth and final instalment of our exciting series of artists talks by Featured exhibitors. In this session, Anastasia Shubina and Timofey Glinin, Nina Welch-Kling, Diana Nicholette Jeon, and Phil Bayly will discuss their inspirations, practice, and exhibited work. 

5 PM – 8 PM (Sydney AEDT) opening – Nudes of TAP exhibition opening at TAP Gallery 

Nudes on TAP is a photographic prize showcasing the work of photographers who are passionate about capturing the sensuality and beauty of artistic nudes.

Ilana Rose

Sunday 20 November  

12:45 PM – 1:45 (Sydney AEDT) panel discussion – Social photo documentary at Bondi Pavilion in the Yalagang room and online.  

This panel will feature photographers who put communities in focus. Ilana Rose and David Schalliol will speak about their sociological photography that seek to capture the often unseen inner-workings of communities showing their resilience, strength and change. 

2 PM – 3:15 PM workshop – Open portfolio review (Sydnet AEDT) at the Bondi Pavilion in the Yalagang room.
