Wading Pool at Wynnum
It struck me as odd, that this space has been given a concrete surround, sand placed on the base with reticulated seawater to provide a wading pool for the people of Wynnum. An exact replica of what lies beyond the wall. I arrived early, around sunrise, to capture my mirror image. Later the crowds arrived and drawn to the landlocked water they were seemingly oblivious to nature’s playground beyond the wall. I’m still not sure whether to label this image as a landscape or a seascape…
