Swimming With Ghosts

All of the trimmings are still there; the umbrellas, the starting blocks, the seats. It is as if the pool is waiting, waiting for the day when the swimmers will return. But they will never come, the hospital is abandoned now and so it sits, alone, with just its memories for company.
