Storm Brewing

This image was captured just off of Hamilton Island in the Whitsunday Islands. A tourist charter boats heads into the sun as it makes a dash for it’s home port before the flash summer storm unleashes it’s force upon them. In summer these intense storms can form without warning and make life very uncomfortable for those at sea. This image captures the rising sea in the foreground and highlights the ferocity of the clouds in the background while the catamaran appears to be caught in between.
