When I reached 4130 metres at Annapurna Base Camp, I was blown away by the power of the mountains and the energy of this part of Nepal. Trekking with my heavy camera equipment I had hoped to get one image to capture the spirit of this place, and I feel I did that in this photo. The spiritual beliefs of the people who worship these peaks hanging prayer flags, the magnitude of the towering rocks and how small we humans really are, in comparison to nature.
