Just before sunset a cool southerly wind change heralding the end of a short heatwave hit Brighton Beach, Adelaide.
I captured this scene by holding my DSLR firmly on a slippery rock trying to allow for a 0.6 sec exposure.
The solidity of the jetty piers contrasts with the changing nature of the sun, wind and waves, the mood and colours of which can be ephemeral.
