Looking towards Pulpit Rock at Cape Schanck on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, I shot this location during a receding tide with a Southwesterly wind. The light had almost completed gone from the sky and I had to expose for 3 minutes
It was great fun shooting this location with one eye on the composition to catch the perfect image, while the watched out for any possible rogue waves rolling in, and being ready to grab my gear and run…
I have this as a colour image but much prefer it in black and white as I feel it brings out the depth of contrast in the rocky foreground.
