The road heading into the Ottway Ranges in Southern Victoria winds through pastureland, rainforest and frequents mists and showers. At certain times of the year, such as winter, it is very quiet. I stopped and took this on my way to stay with my friend Neal, when I saw that the late afternoon light had created a snaking sliver of wet road ahead, with the suns’ rays picking out and making iridescent some of the dense foliage that edges the tarmac.
