THE REMARKABLES

This was an early summer morning at Remarkable Rocks on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. In my mind the shot had to be wide and black and white to capture the stillness and monumentality of the landscape. I also wanted to convey the highly sculpted quality of the granite formations, shaped beautifully, and seemingly precisely, by wind and sea.
