The Prelude

Dove Lake and Boatshed, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania, Austalia. I had been looking forward to hiking the Overland Track which begins at Dove Lake, for many years. I created this picture of Dove Lake and the iconic boatshed on the day prior to setting off. I’ve tried to capture the mood of that dark and rainy day, a prelude of what was to come.
