OXFORD STREET PROFILE
This print shows a detail of both sides of Oxford Street. The complete work starts at Queen Street Woollahra and finishes at Taylor Square Darlinghurst and was photographed between 2009 and 2011. Oxford Street Profile links the architecture of the street in a typology. The Street is photographed from a pedestrian’s point of view, a familiar view for many. The project was conceived before the GFC and photographed during the economic downturn and due to this changes to the street’s façade were more noticeable to a regular observer. Oxford Street Profile shows 1.9 kilometers of the street and is a record of a place in time.
