I have been working on a series of night time photographs taken in Noosa National Park over the last 2 years. I have spent over 100 nights photographing in the National Park under the full moon. The moonlight is actually dull sunlight, so it’s still possible to make photographs at night if you know the correct exposure time, sometimes lasting several hours.
This photo was exposed for 30 minutes around midnight with my Pentax 6×7 film camera and was taken at Paradise Caves, on the southern edge of the National Park. The silver gelatin print was handmade in the darkroom.
