One of the abiding pleasures of living in an ocean city is to be witness to the profound display that nature turns on form time to time. This afternoon the swell was epic. Standing on the edge of the ocean baths I knew I only had a short period of time to capture this remarkable display and get myself and my gear back to safety. I just made it, if a little wet: but it was well worth the effort.
