My Country

For me, photography doesn’t have to be conventionally descriptive; it can rely purely on colour and the intrigue of ambiguous space. Part of a series taken on a road trip through the Murray River country where I was born, ‘My Country’ evokes in me memories of childhood when I was often looking out of the window of a speeding car, mesmerised by the landscape flashing past.
