Motel

This image was taken in 2013 as part of a series I have been doing, on small town Australian Modernist architecture.
I came across this little motel at Port Wakefield in South Australia, almost untouched since the 60’s with the original signage & fonts. A surviving glimpse of an Australian landscape I remember from my youth.
