The modern landscape is littered with the failed attempts to produce spaces that are modern, beautiful, recreational and restful. One has succeeded, Harry’s Park. Built in memorial of Harry Seidler, the space provides beautiful views of the city from a strikingly lit sculpture garden located on Glen Street, Milsons Point. The nearby Luna Park adds colour, sound and theatre to the atmosphere as you sit and ponder the modern landscape unfolds from its 180 degree views of the monuments to Harry’s handicrafts, his adjoining office complex, Australia Square, MLC Building and Blues Point Tower all visible from this little piece of a modernists dream.
