Kissing Kangaroos

I woke early in the morning in my tent and pondered whether to go back to sleep. To help me decide, I parted the tent’s door to check the weather and saw that lake Cootharaba was still and that a mob of kangaroos had come down to drink. A pair of young kangaroos turned to snog each other, the space between them forming a heart shape. I hardly had to rise out of bed to take this photo!
