James Price Point, about an hour’s rugged drive north of Broome in WA’s Kimberley, burns pindan red against the archetypal gold and blue hues of the Indian Ocean coastline. Its ragged peaks and craggy undulations struggle to be contained within the scope of a lens. Yet perhaps in that lens, refusal speaks volumes, as it remains the state’s most contentious natural site being willed into development by gas mining giants. Panorama shot on a Canon 5D Mk2. HDR.
