Fraud Blocker

There ain’t no ice in Julia Creek, Central QLD…even in autumn when I was there to photograph the annual “Dirt n Dust” Festival which is a triathlon leading through the dry paddocks and muddy river of the 200 soul outback town. The event was accompanied with bog snorkeling and yabby racing competitions and Windy Wizard, the clown for entertaining the kids got drunk on the JB Colas. Late in the afternoons I got out to take some shots of the quirky little outback enclave finding the “Knowledge Centre” and a deserted petrol station advertising mouthwatering “ice”. (Taken from the series “Dirt n Dust” ) Shot on Hasselblad 500c, Velvia slide film and scanned.
