On my bushwalks I often see forms in the landscape, particularly in trees, which evoke a sense of spirituality in me. I do not regard myself as a religious man at all, but I think that all human being have an innate sense of the spiritual in their nature, a sense which has been hijacked, not necessarily with the best of intentions, by organised religion. This photograph was taken on a walk along Kangaroo Creek in the Royal National Park in December 2012.
